    Description

This is an investment grade 1970 Nova SS. It has the original, numbers matching born with engine, transmission and date code correct rear end.
    The good:
Recent restoration with original drivetrain. The engine looks to have all the original parts except the carb, it’s an Edelbrock.
Excellent options to include SS package, 4-speed, bucket seats, very rare and expensive gauge package, and special paint code (unknown, but believed to be original color that’s on the car now)
It was just imported last year with Ironclad Canadian documentation. This is the only documentation for GM cars of this era that cannot be faked or reproduced. Also includes the Fischer Body broadcast sheet.
    The bad:
Power steering leaks, about 5 drops a week
Some rust at the base of the windshield. From what I researched, this is very common and correctable.
Radio turns on but just static through the speakers.
Everything works with the climate control, the sliders are just stiff.
    No spare tire or jack.
There seems to be some paint correction at the top of the doors. Looks like it had some work done.
There is a rub in the right front when turning right. I believe it is rubbing on the inner fender. Not bad, just needs adjustment.
I believe the flywheel needs resurfaced as sometimes there is a small shutter when starting out. It doesn’t do this in any other gear.
    The verdict:
I’m selling this due to combining households and I need an 8 passenger van, which I just bought. I’m out of garage space and it really isn’t feasible for me to have 5 cars. So the Corvette stays and the Nova goes. I’m hoping it goes to someone who can appreciate a car that with a little work, could be a museum piece.
    I described the car accurately
and listed all the bad so you know what you’re getting. All the bad can be corrected, what makes a car rare and collectable this car has.
I bought the car for its originality, and I hope it stays that way. I’ll check my email several times a day so ask away if you have any questions.
I'll help load it on the trailer and I will store it in my garage for up to 2 months to give you some time to arrange shipping if you're out of state. The starting price is the reserve. It's what I have in it and what it takes to import these Canadian documented GMs.
