A.C. Gilbert James Bond 007 Road Race Slot Car Set

A.C. Gilbert James Bond 007 Road Race Slot Car Set by Marvin Glass.  Condition is "Used".
This set is very rare.  It has been in its original box for 55 years after being received as a Christmas gift in 1965.  I recently decided to set it up, restore it and am looking to sell it as I have no children/grand children to leave it to.
The set is being sold AS-IS but is an operational / working set.  It's in good condition for its age, but there is expected wear and tear and it is temper mental.
The original box is in fair condition but is missing a short-side flap.  The majority of the original packing material and accessories box are included.
The following items are included:
-Six track sections consisting of a Lemans, Mountain, two Curved Lake, Jump and Power Section with two Speed Controllers.  Two Rock Locks and six U-Locks secure the sections together.
-One Red James Bond Aston Martin DB5 Race Car
-One Blue Ford Mustang Chase Vehicle

Three long guard rails/one short guard rail (one post is broken)

The original power section has two replacement A.C. Gilbert controllers from a different race set.  The original James Bond controllers failed.  A second power section with James Bond controllers was obtained.  The controllers appear to work but may require rebuilding as the cars do not run as strong as with the original power section.  A solution may be to wire the James Bond controllers to the original power section.  Both power sections are included.
The vehicles are in running condition and contain all their chrome.  The vehicle chassis' were rebuilt with Slot Tech brushes and Aurora Wild Ones magnets.  The idler gears were polished and oiled.  The guide pins were replaced.  The James Bond vehicle runs strong but requires regular oiling   The Ford Mustang periodically slows down and may need the crown gear replaced.  The original magnets are included.  Purchaser may want to buy new tires.
Repairs were made to two track rails connectors that had previously broken, one on each of the lake sections.  Similar rail from another A.C. Gilbert track section was cut to length and then cemented in place.  There is continuous electrical contact in the sections.  The track/rail section and Zap-A-Gap Medium CA+ cement is included.  The track and rails were cleaned with Aero Track/Rail Cleaner and treated with Zap Rail Zip 2 corrosion inhibitor.  These items are included.
The light wiring harness, road repair sign and replacement tires are advertised for sale on Ebay for approximately .
