Van Briggle Pottery 1940s Blue Panther Mountain Lion & Lamp Shade
My father collected Van Briggle Pottery and this is one of his best. Blue panther or mountain lion peering around a tree. Original parts. I believe the shade is original but not 100% sure. It is definately a Van Briggle shade characterized by the material, hand-woven  and riveted seems and inlaid butterflies and other natural materials. Lamp works fine. Panther has a slight discoloration by his left paw, not sure what the cause (see pic).
Lamp with the shade is 23" tall. Without the shade, it is 20" tall. The shade is 13" tall and 11" in diameter at the bottom while 6" in diameter at the top. Turns on by push knob (see pic). Will not come with the light bulb.
Lamb will be disassembled for shipping and I will ship the shade separately at no cost for safe delivery. Local pick-up is preferred and available to those living near Columbus, Oh.
